Intuitive Machines’ vertical integration across space infrastructure, data, and delivery services enables the company to flexibly leverage its core technology stack and rapidly design, build, test, deploy, and operate advanced space systems. As the engine of the company’s growth strategy, this integrated approach has also informed the development of a highly flexible, scalable physical infrastructure. Â
Â
The new Intuitive Machines facility at Houston Spaceport scales operations while maintaining a single, integrated campus and network. It provides expanded production areas and modular space, creating an efficient, turnkey facility that can easily expand apace with the company.Â
 Â
In August, the company announced its plan to strategically invest in in-house satellite production to deliver on the Near Space Network Services (NSNS) vision with precision and efficiency. Intuitive Machines is vertically integrating satellite production, bringing design, manufacturing and testing in-house. This proven model, first applied to Intuitive Machines lunar landers, allows the company to maintain schedule control, protect intellectual property, and reduce costs by launching landers and satellites together on a single mission. This approach also opens the door to additional satellite opportunities beyond NSNS. The first Intuitive Machines satellite will launch with the company’s upcoming IM‑3 lunar mission.Â
Â
As satellite production scales, new facilities are essential for supporting space vehicles and systems now in development and enable every phase of design, testing, and delivery to operate seamlessly under one roof. Intuitive Machines’ expansion of its original Spaceport location  also supports additional government contracts and scales delivery of spacecraft production, testing, and mission support.Â
 Â
Intuitive Machines’ commitment to building the infrastructure, technology, and talent required to do more on the lunar surface, in cislunar space, and ultimately on Mars is creating a center of space excellence in Houston, including the company’s expanding campus at Houston Spaceport.Â
