Intuitive Machines is seeking a Meeting Support Specialist to join our Lunar program.
Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain embedded flight software features and improvement
Draft unit/integration tests and coordinate high-level testing of features
Design, analysis, and development of propulsion systems and components for space flight
Design and operate propulsion system testing equipment during integrated and offline testing per procedures and with a focus on safety.
Requires knowledge and experience with fluid systems, valves, regulators, pumps.
Mathematical modeling of dynamic systems
Apply advanced knowledge of propulsion system design, analysis principles, systems engineering, and operations.
Required Education/Experience/Skills
B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university
Experience in propulsion component/system design and production
Experience in C/C++ development
Experience with hardware/software integration
Organized, thorough and methodical approach to software quality and testing
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, hard charging, high stakes environment
A passion for spaceflight
Preferences
Experience with GSFC Core Flight Software (CFS) framework
Experience with device driver implementations
Experience in Gitflow coordinated configuration management schemes
Essential Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.
Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
